MEMBERSHIP
WHAT MEMBERSHIP MEANS
Founded in 2011, the Georgia Upstate Lakes Board of REALTORS®, (GULBOR) serves as a central source of information for our members and our main focus are real estate education, the promotion of professionalism in our industry and representing our REALTOR® members with legislative initiatives to create positive change for the real estate community. Throughout its history, the Georgia Upstate Lakes Board has exerted its influence in civic affairs in its capacity to represent a substantial segment of the business community across the Georgia Upstate Lakes community.
GULBOR Membership provides a purpose, vision, and mission in the promotion and protection of the real estate industry. It also provides a means for developing life-long affiliations, an outlet for community involvement, and a means of defending the American dream of home ownership and private property rights. Members of the Georgia Upstate Lakes Board of REALTORS® aim higher, gain more, and make greater strides in both their business and personal endeavors.

ARE YOU REPRESENTING YOUR INDUSTRY AS A REALTOR®?
A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the National Association of REALTORS® - The Voice for Real Estate, the world's largest professional association. The term REALTOR® is a legally registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. When joining the Georgia Upstate Lakes Board of REALTORS®, members automatically become members of the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.
MEMBERSHIP TYPES & FEES
In order to join the Board, you will need to pay the prorated amount of your membership fees and an application fee. The Georgia Upstate Lakes Board's, GAR's and NAR's fiscal cycles run on a calendar year, January 1 - December 31.
All REALTOR® applicants will pay a $30 application fee in addition to the annual fee listed below.
REALTOR® Member

A REALTOR® is defined as an individual who holds an active real estate or appraiser's license.
REALTORS® also hold membership with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR) and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

An Affiliate Partner is an individual who does not hold an active real estate license but has interests in the real estate profession.
